Star Wars

Rebellion Era

Lords of the Expanse Campaign

WEG D6 (GM: Dave)

Adventure Script for SW Adventure #15

The scene opens with a camera shot of the interior of a spaceship. Three occupants are in the cramped confines of the cockpit of the ship; two humans about the same age and one brown-furred being. Outside the viewport of the ship, hanging in space, is a large bacta transport hauler. One of the humans is busy with flipping switches and adjusting controls around him. . .

(From the pilot's station)

B'at: Well, we should be in a good position now to provide cover for the Theta-2Y while Loki gets ready to put her in hyperspace.

(From the co-pilot's station)

Mal: How long till the bacta hauler can make the jump to hyperspace?

B'at: Not too long now. See there, (pointing at the engines of the big vessel), he should be bringing the engines back on line anytime now and in a couple of minutes she'll be heading to the coordinates we arranged for meeting back up.

(From the back of the cockpit)

Walsh: I guess I better be heading to the Laser Canon. Mal, you sure you don't want to pull this duty?

Mal: Mal not very good at firing weapons on ships. Mal, glad finally reached decision.

Walsh: You mean regarding what our group is doing next? Yeah, we have our moments.

B'at: We won't be able to make it to the meeting with the contact in time will we?

Walsh: I seriously doubt it. Not unless this thing can do point 5 past lightspeed.

B'at: Rodian's Folly fast, but not that fast.

Mal: Think Loki will leave Rodian bounty hunter be?

Walsh: She'll be ok in the bacta hold along with the other riff-raff. I just don't like the idea of keeping her in the box. (Both Mal and Walsh look at B'at)

B'at: Hey! Whatta ya looking at me for? It's a good idea! Loki, Ace, and Jarrod all agreed with me.

Walsh: Anyway, as soon as we're done here, we go to the pre-arranged coordinates in the Allandor System to see if our contacts are still hanging around. If not, then we'll check out the rest of the System to see if we will get lucky and pick up the trail. We'll stay long enough to be confident we aren't missing anything then use the other coordinates to meet back up with the rest of the group to figure out our next move.

Mal: Not forget that also be looking for a spot to unload unwelcome guests off of the bacta tanker.

B'at: Yes, we really need to deal with that situation as soon as possible. Jarrod can only have so much fun with the air supply. The captives will revolt soon. Walsh you better head back to the laser canon.

Walsh: Mal, are you sure. . .

Mal: (Interrupting) No, Mal sure. Walsh better at weapon's than Mal.

Walsh: (Speaking back to Mal over his shoulder as he heads back to the laser canon access shaft.) Then we're in a world of trouble.

Walsh begins ascending the ladder to the laser canon when suddenly he is violently buffeted around the tiny enclosure. As he struggles to regain his balance, Walsh feels the Rodian's Folly's engines kick in as the ship begins to leap into action.

Walsh: Hey! B'at, I thought you said you could fly this bucket!

Mal: B'at busy! Got company!
